What is the 3MF Data Extractor?

A free, browser-based utility for 3D printing enthusiasts who use BambuStudio or OrcaSlicer. Drop in a .3mf file and instantly see every print setting organized in the same tabs as your slicer — no software to install, no account required.

Why extract 3MF settings?

When a print fails and you want help on Reddit or from an AI, people always ask "what are your settings?" This tool pulls them all out of the 3MF — without sharing your 3D model — and gives you a compact Reddit-ready summary or a complete dump for AI troubleshooting.

How does it work?

A .3mf file is a ZIP archive. Inside is a project_settings.config JSON file containing all your slicer settings. This tool reads the file in your browser, parses the JSON, and shows the settings organized in the same layout as your slicer.

  • Your files are never uploaded to any server
  • No data is transmitted anywhere — ever
  • The only external resource is the JSZip library, loaded with a security hash (SRI) to prevent tampering
